Paris 11 ATC

I sat down to create something for this week's Theme Thursday challenge, which is Paris, and I ended up with this ATC that is far different from what I initially had in mind.  Sometimes you just have to let your muse take you down a different path.

The base layer is white glossy cardstock colored with alcohol inks and then stamped with a French script.  The top layer is a variety of ArtChix Studio clipart collaged onto a black glossy cardstock.

Every Majestic Muscle

This week's Thursday Challenge prompt is men/masculine.

My muscle man is from Alpha Stamps.  I created the background by collaging a variety of matchbook images from ArtChix Studio.  The text was clipped randomly from a 1920s novel and highlighted with a Sharpie marker.

Not Anxious to Marry APC

I see many wonderful altered playing cards by other artists.  Unfortunately, the playing cards I have are too small to qualify as an ATC.  However, the cards in my 1919 Pit game are exactly 2.5 x 3.5 inches and they have wonderful designs on both the front and back.  I'm quite pleased with my first-ever altered playing card.

I used some old sheet music, an image from ArtChix Studio, and two dried hydrangea blooms from our garden.  I thought the text I found in a 1920s novel was befitting this sexy secretary.
