Happy Day To You

I've been meaning to send some "just because" mail to some friends, and I wanted to use the bright, new papers I received recently from Stampin' Up.  The weather may have turned cold and blustery again, but I am still feeling spring!

I used Prismacolor Premier pencils to color one of my favorite images from Hampton Art Stamps.

Thanks for dropping in.  Have a great day!

Supplies:
Poppy Parade, naturals ivory, and very vanilla cardstock, and Everyday Enchantment designer series paper from Stampin' Up; image by Hampton Art Stamps; Stazon black ink; Prismacolor Premier pencils; odorless mineral spirits; Martha Stewart border punch; Prima flowers; mini gold brads (Recollections brand from Michaels); pop-dots.

New Car Thank You

My parents purchased a new vehicle this past week and with the help of my brother's stepson, who works at the dealership, they were able to work out a pretty sweet deal.  They decided to give him a gift card as a thank you, and I offered to create a card to go with it.

I have several vintage vehicle images but decided to use this one from Artistic Outpost.  I made an easel card so he can display it in his office.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Supplies:
Naturals ivory and very vanilla cardstock from Stampin' Up; black cardstock by Bazzill; patterned papers by Echo Park Paper Company; car image from Artistic Outpost; sentiment by Recollections (Michaels); Stazon black ink; Martha Stewart border punch; oval and scalloped oval punches from Stampin' Up; pop-dots.

Route 66 Birthday Card

I needed a birthday card for a friend's husband, but am feeling low on creative mojo right now.  So I pulled out a design I've used before and just changed the colors.

The stamps are from Artistic Outpost.  I lightly colored the car with a gray Prismacolor pencil in order to give it some definition.  The Route 66 sign and the sentiment are elevated with pop-dots.

Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
White and red cardstock by Bazzill; patterned papers by Me and My Big Ideas; whisper white cardstock from Stampin' Up; stamps from Artistic Outpost; black Stazon ink; cool gray Prismacolor pencil; pop-dots.

Additional Sympathy Cards

I had some "practice" stamped images that didn't quite work with the rectangular A2-sized card I was making yesterday, and I hated to see them go to waste. By using a round Nestabilities die cut and making a 5.5 inch square card, I was able to salvage my extra images and create three additional cards for my stash.

Have a great Monday!

Supplies:
Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White cardstock from Stampin' Up; blue, gray, and green cardstock by Bazzill; stamps from Stampin' Up; Marvy markers; Memento tuxedo black ink; round and scalloped round Nestabilities; Swiss dots Cuttlebug embossing folder; corner rounder punch; pop-dots.
