I haven't had any time for crafting this week, but fortunately I had this card in my stash when I needed one to send to an uncle who had surgery on Monday. All I had to do was add the appropriate sentiment inside, and the card was ready to mail.
I created the background with alcohol inks on glossy cardstock using the polished stone technique. That used to be one of my favorite techniques, but I haven't done it in a while. I think it might be time to pull out the inks again. Perhaps after I clear the driveway of the new snow we received yesterday. Winter is finally here!
Thanks for stopping by.

Paris 11 ATC
I sat down to create something for this week's Theme Thursday challenge, which is Paris, and I ended up with this ATC that is far different from what I initially had in mind. Sometimes you just have to let your muse take you down a different path.
The base layer is white glossy cardstock colored with alcohol inks and then stamped with a French script. The top layer is a variety of ArtChix Studio clipart collaged onto a black glossy cardstock.
Thanks for visiting my blog!
