I'll give you a hint. Look for a color other than green. (Maybe this close-up shot will help you.)
That's right! The first hint of red has appeared on our tomato plants. And if the rest of the tomatoes follow suit, we are going to have a bumper crop! We are smacking our lips in anticipation. This week's hot and humid weather should help the little fellows ripen. Today the high temperature was 96 degrees (35C) but with the humidity factored it, it actually felt like 106 degrees (42C). Tough on humans, but fabulous for tomatoes.
